I've been "renovating" dolls for about 5 years now and have sold a number of them on eBay. It's an obsessive hobby, along with painting. I haven't received any real training in art, but it's still a lot of fun... It's a great way to alleviate stress. Of course, it wouldn't work if I didn't have such a wonderful husband and understanding family. Bless'em all for putting up with me!
